This model of sowing equipment is a modification of the SZ-3.6 seeder and the difference lies in the presence of self-aligning front pneumatic wheels and rear rollers.

The basis of this sowing equipment is a metal frame, which is supported in front by two pneumatically driven wheels. Adjusting devices and control mechanisms, as well as quite capacious containers for seed and fertilizers, are mounted on top of the chassis. The openers are lowered and raised hydraulically.

The basis of the unit is a metal frame. It rests in front on two pneumatically driven wheels. On top of the frame are all control and adjustment mechanisms, as well as a hopper for fertilizer granules and seeds.
The openers are raised and lowered hydraulically (an external hydraulic cylinder is fixed to the frame base). Ring type rollers are hinged to the frame. A three-speed gear reducer connected to the wheels of the machine is switched by a lever. Torque is transmitted from it to the shafts of the sowing mechanisms - a chain drive is used for this. An uncoupler is used to stop seeding when openers are up.
An overrunning clutch is used to transfer rotational energy from both wheels or from two rollers located at the edges. When the machine is operating, the coulters make trenches, where they fill up with the necessary interval of grain and fertilizer coming from the hopper through the funnels into the coulter sockets. The edges of the trenches then crumble naturally, covering the seed. The following rollers "tread down" the surface of the soil, and it is leveled with a special trail-harrow. As structural materials, the same ones are used.

It is difficult to find an agronomist who is not familiar with the "szshka" - the SZ seeder. The first seeder of this model was created almost half a century ago. During this time, it has become a classic grain ordinary trailed machine. In the USSR, they were produced at the Kirovograd plant of agricultural machines "Red Star" (the modern name "Elvorti") in Ukraine, in Russia, "szshki" were made by the factories "Belinskselmash" in the Penza region and "Sibselmash" in Novosibirsk, they were also made in Kazakhstan.

The model turned out to be so successful that on the basis of the SZ-3.6 seeder, many modifications were developed: coulters for light soils, narrow-row ones for ordinary and stony soils, grain-grass, single-disk, roller for peat soils, flax, etc.

The high level of unification of components and parts within the family of seeders greatly simplified the manufacture, operation and supply of spare parts, combined with simplicity in design, maintenance and overall reliability in operation - all this contributed to the wide distribution of sowing machines.

In the vast territory of the former Soviet Union, there is probably not a single farm where these seeders are used. At the turn of the century, more than one and a half million such seeders had already been produced. Not a single seeder in the world was produced in such huge quantities.

From "szshka" to "szshushka"

For work on soils subject to wind erosion, a grain-fertilizer press seeder, SZP-3.6, was developed. In such a seeder, sowing takes place with the simultaneous rolling of each sown row. In addition to protecting the soil, the packer rollers not only protect the soil from erosion, but also ensure uniform sowing and uniform seedlings.

Of course, it was no longer the same seeder that left the Kirovograd workshops 50 years ago - domestic and foreign agricultural engineering has stepped far ahead. The design of components and assemblies and SZP seeders has changed and improved.

In the VITA seeder, the width of the working grip remained traditional - 3.6 m. The volume of grain fertilizer hoppers increased by almost 1.5 times, which made it possible to load large volumes of seed, reduce the number of stops for refueling and increase productivity.

The seeder uses a familiar and reliable gearbox, more precisely, two open (three-stage) gear gearboxes located behind the seed boxes. Together with chain drives, they make up the drive mechanism for seed and fertilizer sowing machines.

A modernized double-disk opener is used, the disks of which are offset by 6 mm relative to each other, which reduces traction, increases the resource of the opener and avoids clogging. As a rule, disc coulters work well in all soils. Due to the rotation of the discs, they almost do not clog or stick, allow sowing at high speeds, and have the ability to individually copy field irregularities.

Reinforced "problem" units: beam, drawbar, footboard. The position of the drive gear has been changed. In the original “szpshke”, the rink hit the drive at the slightest bump. With the VITA seed drill, this problem is solved - the roller is moved back by 7 centimeters, and does not come into contact with the drive.

To take into account these moments, direct feedback from the consumers themselves was needed. Before being put into production, the seeder not only passed mandatory tests at the Altai MIS, but also worked for a season on the farms of the Altai Territory. Comments and suggestions were taken into account and worked out.

The TDT-75 tractor is a tracked vehicle of the third traction class. Produced by OJSC "Altai Tractor", served as the basis for the creation of modern skidding mechanisms TT-4 and TT-4M.
