The rejection of the younger generation from national culture, from the socio-historical experience of generations is one of the serious problems of our time.

Russia is the homeland for each of us, we live in this country, love and are proud of it. But we can hardly say with confidence that we know well the spiritual life of our people, the history and culture of the country, as we would like.

Patriotism is a feeling of love for the Motherland. Spiritual and creative patriotism must be instilled from early childhood, but a teacher will not be able to awaken a feeling of love for the Motherland in a child without being a patriot himself.

We must not forget about our cultural past, but convey this to people in every possible way, first of all, starting with the child. Introducing Russian folk tales, games, songs, nursery rhymes, round dances, riddles, complicating and enriching knowledge with age.

Therefore, while working on a project to introduce children to Russian culture and traditions, I developed a script for the entertainment “Gatherings”.

A lot of work was done on staging a dance with spoons, learning proverbs and sayings, learning an orchestra on Russian folk instruments, ditties, involving parents in sewing Russian folk costumes, studying Russian folk games and entertainment, etc.

Church and secular rules required protecting and caring for the mother. The moral character of grown children was determined by their care for their mother. And while the children were little, mothers sang lullabies to them (a folk lullaby sounds, girls rock dolls).
