Music teacher

The happiest person in the world is considered to be a music teacher from Croatia - Frain Selak. Horvath in June 2003 (at the age of 74), having bought a lottery ticket for the first time in 40 years, won more than $ 1 million. But he became known all over the world even before he won - for his ability to survive. Selak survived seven fatal disasters without significant health consequences.

In 1962, the train on which Selak was traveling from Sarajevo to Dubrovnik, derailed, fell directly into the icy river. Then 17 passengers were killed, the Croat managed to swim to the shore with a broken arm, resulting in very severe hypothermia, bruises and shock.

Airplane flight

In 1963, Frain Selak fell out of a DC-8 airplane, which was flying from the city of Zagreb to the city of Rijeka, - during the flight, the plane door unexpectedly opened. A couple of minutes later, the plane crashed, killing 19 people, and Selak came to his senses - he was found with cuts and bruises in a haystack.

In 1966, Selak was traveling by bus to the city of Split when it flew off the road and fell into the river. Four people were killed, and the Croat swam ashore with cuts and bruises, experiencing a severe shock.

In 1970, he was driving his car, which suddenly caught fire, and Selak managed to get out a few seconds before the fuel tank exploded.

At the edge of the cliff

In 1973, Frain Selak lost almost all of his hair - a faulty fuel pump sprayed gasoline over a red-hot car engine, and a flame burst out of the ventilation hole.

In 1995, in Zagreb, Selak was hit by a city bus, but again escaped with only minor bruises.

In 1996, Frain Selak was driving along a mountain road and saw a truck rushing towards him around a bend. Selak's car crashed into a road fence, broke through it and hung on the edge of a cliff.

At the last moment, the Croat jumped out of the car, landing on a tree, and soon saw the Skoda explode 90 meters below him.

Oh lucky

The happiest man in the world, nicknamed Lucky in his homeland, said after winning the lottery: “It was as if I was born again. The Lord has been protecting me all my life, and now he has presented me with such a fabulous gift. "

8 simple habits of a happy person

1. DO NOT WORRY WHAT OTHERS THINK ABOUT THEM

Do not allow negative people to influence their well-being. No matter what these people say, everything flows from them like water off a duck's back. After all, they firmly know that worthy person- not one who has no flaws, but one who has dignity.

2. ALWAYS SEE THE PROS

There is something good about all that is bad. If you cannot see in the situation positive side, such people create it themselves. They have no regrets. If it was good, then it is great. And if it was bad, then it was an experience.

3. ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND GRATEFUL

Happy people don't care what you look like or where you come from. All they need is another person next to whom they can laugh and be happy. They do not hesitate and do not regret a few minutes to express gratitude to other people.

4. ALWAYS SMILE AND POSITIVE

“We do not laugh because we are happy; we are happy because we laugh ”(William James). Smiles and laughter are an integral part of happy people. It so happened that the people with whom we spend a lot of time influence us and our perception of the world around us. The more time we spend with positive and optimistic people, the brighter colors our life will be.

5. LIVE IN THE PRESENT MOMENT

“I have experienced many terrible things in my life, some of them actually happened” (Mark Twain). They are not waiting for Friday evening, Sunday morning, buying a new car, a new apartment. They don't wait for spring, summer, autumn, winter. After all, the worst mistake is to think that you are living, when in fact you are lying in a storage room waiting for life.

6. KNOW THAT NOT EVERYTHING IS PERFECT BUT DOESN'T GET UP

It is difficult to overcome perfectionism in yourself, but it is necessary. Everything is good in moderation. Happy people know how to control the pursuit of excellence. They do not punish themselves for inaccuracies and shortcomings. They are proud of themselves and their achievements. Sometimes things don't go as planned, and that's okay. It is impossible to keep everything under control.

7. TRYING TO DO GOOD

One of better ways feel happy - change the world... You don't have to save the people or stop the tsunami for this. It is enough just to smile at people, make compliments, help friends, give gifts.

8. CONTINUE LEARNING

They are curious and eager to learn new things about the world and the people who inhabit it. There is always something we don’t know about yet. A zest for life gives you energy, helps you create new ideas, positively affects thinking and makes your days richer and brighter.

Roman Moskalev is a truck driver from Vitebsk. On Sunday, September 16, his daughter was born. The next weekend, the young father went to pick up his wife and child from the hospital. Then he did not even think that the whole city would be buzzing about his act. He just came for his girls in a wagon.

26 years ago, from the same third maternity hospital, Roma's dad met his wife and son.

“Not quite so,” the young man explained. - I broke the system a little. My father then left the truck outside the hospital gates, and I drove into the yard. My wife stood on the first floor with her things, saw me through the window, began to send air kisses. Natasha was shocked. She thought I was taking a taxi. Then she repeated: "This is the best day."

The act of the young dad was liked not only by his wife, but also by passers-by. Someone photographed a wagon decorated with balloons and pink letters "I'm going for my daughters" and posted the pictures on social networks. In a couple of hours, the posts got hundreds of likes and dozens of comments. Roma took this reaction of the townspeople calmly and gladly talks about his idea. All this, he says, happened thanks to dad.

- Even before I got married, I knew that I would take my wife and child from the hospital in a wagon. It doesn't matter if I have a son or a daughter, - the young man recalls. - It's like a response to my father.

Romin's papa worked as a truck driver all his life, six years ago he passed away. But mom remembers that surprise well. The son's act was also a surprise to her. She came to meet her daughter-in-law with other relatives a little earlier than Roma.

“In general, she was delighted,” the young man briefly describes her condition.

Roma learned about becoming a dad on the way.

- I was on a flight, I was going to Lyubertsy - a city in the Moscow region, - the interlocutor recalls that day. - A couple of kilometers before the destination Natasha and I phoned and agreed: I’ll get there, take a break and pick her up. I arrived, fell asleep and suddenly a friend wakes me up, says: your wife has already called you several times. I understood: it had begun.

Immediately I got too sleepy, and four hours later Natasha wrote that she had given birth. On this occasion, the head of the company where Roma works, allowed the trucker to change the route and go in the direction of the house. The car with another driver left for the next flight. This did not upset the young dad. He again called the director in Minsk, asked if he would give him a truck to meet his wife from the hospital. The head did not refuse. True, the nearest transport was found only in Lepel. The keys to him were in Orsha. But who could it stop?

- My friend Denis supported me. He went to Orsha for the keys, and then I went to Lepel. We decorated the car with him, - the interlocutor continues. - When the truck went to the hospital, people reacted very positively. Filmed on video, waved from the windows of cars, honked.

Dad himself drove into the hospital under a loud signal. One of the doctors, however, made a remark, but Roma explained everything: “I have a holiday, my daughter was born,” and apologized.

The nurses were surprised.

“They didn't remember their parents,” the young man smiles. But he well remembers the moment when his daughter was carried out to him. He remembers how he climbed into the cabin with her, by the way, Natasha also quickly got up. The happy parents didn't even take pictures. Okay, loved ones made a video.

On the way home, the happy father continued to honk, this did not bother his daughter, she slept quietly. And when she opened her eyes a couple of times, my mother showed her the way.

- How are your girls now?

- Well, they decided to name the girl Miroslav. He and his wife are now at home, and I jumped to the pharmacy, the baby needs to buy something, - says Roma on the go.

He still has two weeks until the next flight, so he has time to be with his family.

- Did you expect your action to be discussed so actively?

- The time is now, a lot of people are on their phones, so everything could have happened. But all this was not so that they paid attention to us, - the young man admits. - I just wanted to please my wife. To show my daughter, when she grows up, how dad took her. We filmed the video especially for them.

Roma smiles and says that Natasha has watched this recording a dozen times already. And even now, when he went to the pharmacy, I reviewed it.

- Aren't you afraid that after this Miroslava will also want to become a truck driver?

“No, I’ll explain to her from childhood that this is not a profession,” the young father unexpectedly replies. - You do not live in a family, you spend the night in a car, no romance.

But outside the driver's cabin in Romina's life there is enough romance. He does not yet know how he will amaze his girls further, but what will happen is a fact.

- Just let them get stronger first. And then I'll think of something.
