The best way to clear your doubts. How to get rid of doubts (SI). At a certain period of time, I realized that I was not satisfied with my work.

Our doubts often paralyze our actions, so everyone wants to know how to get rid of self-doubt... Basically, all doubts are associated with fear, laziness, insecurity, lack of meaning in life and true purpose. When a person knows what he wants, he begins to act, not paying attention to any doubts. Psychologists have prepared a number of effective and proven methods for you to help get rid of doubts and start living happily.

Why and why you doubt

The main reason for doubt in itself, it is not awareness and lack of logical thinking. Anyone who wants to understand how to get rid of self-doubt must begin to think and realize where this doubt came from and why. Thinking and conscious people do not give in to doubts, because they know what they want and act, despite uncertainty, fear and laziness. Just take your mind off the outside world for at least a few hours, and immerse yourself in your inner world... Ask questions of your subconscious mind and start thinking correctly.

Is it worth fighting insecurity and laziness

Psychologists have studied and proved that if he wants to overcome insecurity and laziness, just in order to become bold and self-confident, he will fail. Because having become confident and courageous without special goals and meaning in life, a person will return to his uncertain life filled with laziness and suffering. There is no need to fight laziness and uncertainty, you just need to find your purpose in life, meaning and mission, and then all unnecessary will leave your life.

Find your favorite business

So, you need to find your favorite job. Because going to constantly unloved work, performing uninteresting and boring duties, will lead to doubts, uncertainty, fears and loss of the meaning of life. You need to enjoy life and be happy not only on weekends, but also at work. You either need to find new job, your favorite business, business, or find something in your existing job that will ignite your fire of joy and happiness. Live your life with meaning, happiness and joy.

Overcome your fear

Many people today live with fear and cannot find magical methods how to get rid of this fear. The whole problem is that these magic methods do not exist, you and only you can overcome your fear... Start doing everything that you are afraid and then the fear will leave you, other methods that will forever rid you, there is no fear of all, because fears constantly appear in our life.

Change your mindset, think more positively

Those who still have not realized his thoughts continue to live unconsciously, not knowing what will happen to them tomorrow and in the future. We need to live in the present, but dream and think about the future, since we ourselves create everything that surrounds us and ourselves. Who you are now and what surrounds you is the result of your past thoughts. Those who say that they did not think about it, simply lived unconsciously and did not know how to control their thinking and thoughts. They became slaves to their thoughts and went with the flow, without resisting or trying to change something.

If you want to get rid of doubts in yourself, start think right and positively. It doesn't matter what happens in your material life, what matters is how and what you think about. Change your way of thinking, be more cheerful and more confident.

Take up self-hypnosis, every day reinforce yourself with the thoughts that you are already confident in yourself and become even more confident every minute. Soon you yourself will realize the power of thought and the fact that it creates our reality, us and those around us.

They say that doubt is a sign of a developed intellect and a rich imagination. We doubt the correctness of actions when we realize the multivariate development of events. But what if doubts immobilize and become torments?

“To be or not to be - that is the question. Is it worthy to endure the shame of fate without a murmur? Or do you need to resist? Rise, arm, win. Or die, die, sleep? " - such doubts tormented Hamlet, the hero of Shakespeare's tragedy. The pangs of doubt are familiar to everyone. And this is, indeed, the most real torments that poison our lives.

Doubting, we mentally replay different scenarios for the development of events in one case or another, consult with friends and family, spend an incredible amount of mental strength and energy, and in the end we feel devastation, which does not allow us to rejoice, even if the result meets expectations. As the Italian writer Silvio Pellico wrote, "... whoever loves to delve into doubts deprives his soul of strength."

A person who gives vent to doubts, as a result, generally loses the ability to make a decision, because it presupposes a responsibility that always doubting people try to avoid. They prefer not to express, refer to someone else's or avoid answering.

But ordering yourself not to hesitate and following the advice “if you are thinking about doing or not doing, it’s better not to do it” is also not an option. The English writer Gilbert K. Chesterton ironically remarked that "only materialists and madmen know no doubt." And the Austrian diplomat S.-J. de Lin said on this occasion: "There are two kinds of fools: some do not doubt anything, others doubt everything."

There is another point of view on doubts, according to which this is a great flaw, weakness and even a sin. Doubts serve as a brake on a person's path to development and perfection. They speak of the weakness of his mind, incapable of adequate analysis, decision-making and implementation of it. “A mind that doubts is sterile and ineffective”, “A doubting person can be called a loser for sure”, “Doubts are deprived of strength, take away vital energy”, “He is gnawed by a worm of doubt” - such harsh statements accompany people prone to prolonged hesitation and hesitation when solving life problems.

Doubts are conventionally divided into positive and negative. The presence of positive ones is understandable and justified. For example, we have the opportunity to open a pharmacy in our area, but we doubt it, because there are already plenty of them here. The wrong decision will lead to the fact that instead of the expected profit, we will get losses.

It's another matter if our doubts are caused by and. These are negative doubts, the result of which is the rejection of plans, the opportunity to realize oneself, and maybe from a better future. William Shakespeare called such doubts traitors, because: "... they deprive us of the good that we could often acquire."

What makes us doubt

1 ... It is believed that doubt - a state of uncertainty, when we hesitate to make a judgment, make the final choice - inherent in a person from the very beginning and is closely related to the instinct of self-preservation.

After all, making this or that decision, we take risks. Doubt tells us that something is going or might go wrong. Our mind is not able to grasp all the factors that can change the course of events and affect the outcome of the case. Some new insignificant detail, sudden circumstances that cannot be foreseen, can interfere with our well-planned actions and cause big problems. As the well-known Agatha Christie used to say, “There is always doubt, in everything. Suddenly, some factor may appear that cannot be taken into account, and it will overturn the cart with apples. "

2. Lack of necessary knowledge, ability to analyze, low self-esteem and self-doubt also cause doubts. They are inherent in people who consider themselves eternal failures and therefore set themselves up in advance for a negative result. They explain their doubts with standard phrases: "Not with my happiness ...", "I still won't succeed," "I'm unlucky."

Their long meditations and hesitation, because "they want and prick", usually end in retreat without trying to test themselves. It is curious that people believe in a negative outcome of the case and negative statements much more readily than in positive ones.

3. “What will people think? What if they don't approve? "... A person cannot make a choice, because he is torn apart by doubts: he wants what, in his opinion, colleagues, friends, and parents will condemn.

Divorce your wife or husband? Life has become unbearable, there is darkness ahead with no hope of improving relations. Fit into the loop. But what about obligations, responsibility? No one will understand, everyone will turn away.

I made a mistake in choosing a specialty, I want to change jobs - what are you, a fool? Where else will they pay you so much? What will we live on? Doubts of this kind are so exhausting that a person prefers to leave everything as it is.

The motto of people who have a habit of chewing the same thoughts a hundred times should be the words: "If you are afraid, do not do, if you do, do not be afraid, if you do, do not regret."

3. The morning of the evening is wiser

“Go to sleep, sleep; The morning is wiser than the evening!"- we remember this phrase well from children's fairy tales. Its meaning is that you do not need to look for a way out of a difficult situation at night and solve important problems. Fatigue and nervous tension accumulated during the day will prevent you from adequately assessing the situation. Sometimes what we struggle with unsuccessfully in the evening is easily resolved in the morning, when strength is restored.

4. Be positive

Constantly doubting people almost always regret the decision, whatever it may be, and mentally replay the same situation several times, engage in self-criticism, wasting their time, strength and vital energy. But there is an opinion that doubts pursue precisely those people who have too little such energy.

But we are not our enemy, are we? Therefore, we live here and now, forget about our past and other people's negative experiences and concentrate on the positive, looking for and filling our lives with positive emotions that will block the possible negative.

5. Do nothing

If we cannot make a choice, we will try to forget about its necessity for a while. And one day the decision will come to us on its own - we suddenly clearly realize what we want.

Obsessive thoughts of faith and doubts during ablution and prayer are a very common problem. Rarely will you meet someone who has never encountered something like this at least once in his life. And if doubts about religion come to people of different age groups, then doubts during worship, as a rule, arise among young people. ... Consider the most common types of doubts in worship and Allah will give practical advice to eliminate them.

Doubt while using the restroom

Going to the restroom is not so easy for many people, because for fear of body and clothing, each visit is almost like bathing and washing for them. Feeling like a spray of urine has hit their feet or clothing does not leave them, and they begin to wash their feet or wash their underwear or the hem of the clothing. And they do it more and more each time.

In books on fiqh (Muslim law), in the section on visiting the restroom, it is written that one should not attach importance to the feeling of splashing on the body or clothes if they cannot be seen with the naked eye ... In addition, theologians advise those who suffer from obsessions while visiting the restroom, after having relieved the need to spray their clothes with clean water, so that when they exit, when they see some splashes, they do not take them for splashes of urine. In such a simple way, you can cope with this type of doubt.

Doubt while performing ablution

Sometimes you can see how young people perform ablution, reciting azkars loudly, and wash their body parts not three times, as ordered, but dozens of times! It seems to them that they did not wash the organ, then they did not wash it to the end, then they violated the order of washing body parts (in the Shafi'i madhhab, observance of the order of washing body parts is mandatory), etc. It takes them about 10-15 minutes to perform ablution, which can be done in one minute, and sometimes even more than half an hour!

When Satan fails to force a person not to worship Allah, he tries to hinder the person with instigations and doubts, bringing him to such a state that in the end he leaves this business. For instigations and instilling doubts in those who take a bath, there is a specific demon, whose name is Valyakhan.

And if people who are often illiterate in religion are often susceptible to doubts about other types of worship, then even beginning mutaalims are not saved from the fate of doubts during ablution. (who have just started to study religious sciences). Because, if you look into books on fiqh, you can find: when there are doubts as to whether you have washed a part of the body at all or whether you have washed it completely, you need to wash this part of the body again. If, during the performance of ablution, doubts arose about the intention, whether it was done or not, you need to start the performance of ablution from the beginning. BUT if doubts arose after the completion of ablution (after having washed the other leg), then, whether they are about the intention or about a part of the body, for example, the hand - whether he washed it or not - they do not need to be given any importance!

It is also worth noting that the intention is made by the heart, mentally, and this is quite enough for the reality of the intention, and it is desirable to pronounce it with the tongue.

Doubts while performing the obligatory prayer

Another common case is doubts during prayer: they read al-Fatiha (alham) and Tshahhud (at-tahiyyat) surah aloud, repeat what they read several times, forget the number of rak'ahs (prayer cycles), over and over again enter namaz, doubting their intention, etc. And if, while performing namaz in the jamaat behind the imam, they somehow manage to do it with grief in half, then reading a prayer on their own is almost torture for such people.

It is not surprising that doubts about prayer are attended by a fairly large number of people, because prayer is the most important pillar of Islam, without which it is impossible to imagine religion itself.... The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) likened prayers to a pillar, a support, saying: "Namaz is the support of religion" ("Kanzul-ummal fi sunanil-aqualival-afal", No. 18889).

الصلاة عماد الدين

Another hadith says: “ The first thing a slave will be reprimanded for on the Day of Judgment is prayer.... And if it turns out to be serviceable, then the slave will be saved and succeed, and if not, he will suffer failure and loss ”(“ Kanzul-ummal ”, No. 18877).

إن أول ما يحاسب به العبد يوم القيامة من عمله الصلاة فانصلحت فقد أفلح وأنجح ، وإن فسدت فقد خاب وخسر

Therefore, in no case should you give up prayer. Knowing the importance and significance of prayer, Satan tries in every possible way to interfere with the fulfillment of it.

Here, too, if you look into the books on fiqh, you can find the following norms: if a person, during the prayer, has doubts about the intention - whether he had it or not - the prayer must be started anew. If the praying person doubts whether he has read the surah "al-Fatiha" or whether he has performed any part of the prayer (rukn), for example, a bow (hand '), he should return to reading al-Fatiha or, in our example , to the waist bow and continue the prayer from there. If the praying person doubts whether he has performed 2 rak'ahs or 3, he must decide that he has done only 2 rak'ahs and continue the prayer until the required number of rak'ahs. If doubts arise after the completion of the prayer (after the first salam), they do not need to be paid attention to at all.

How to deal with doubts about ablution and prayer?

However, here you need to understand that these norms are intended for healthy (in the correct sense of the word) people, for those who do not suffer from instigations, obsessive doubts every time they perform ablution or prayer.

Most effective method to eliminate these doubts - indifference to them: you just need to ignore them. For example, if you are in doubt whether you have washed your hand to the end, do not wash it again; instead, continue your ablution further. The more a believer succumbs to such doubts, the stronger and more often they will arise in him. The only cure for this disease, you cannot name it in another way, is simply not to attach importance to it.

For example, during ablution, you washed your face, then your right hand, and when you switched to your left, you had doubts: did you wash your entire right hand and did you wash it at all? In such cases, you just need to continue your ablution: wash your left hand, wipe your head (masch), wash your feet, and ablution is ready and valid!

Do the same with regard to prayer. If you follow this advice, you will get rid of this disease in no time!

Doubts about faith

Sometimes such thoughts arise in many people, including Muslims. Such doubts do not exist only among the prophets (peace be upon them) and among the chosen servants of the Most High - mentors (sheikhs, ustaz), etc.

The first thing I want to say: Obsessive thoughts that arise by themselves, without deliberate comprehension and reflection on Allah, are not forbidden, for this a person does not fall into sin. And purposeful speculation about Allah, what He is physically, the representation of some image, etc., are sinful and can lead to disbelief (kufr).

It should be noted that such thoughts, as a rule, visit only those Muslims whose faith is not strong and is not supported by logical and religious arguments, which are given by theologians, about the existence of the Lord, the Creator of everything that surrounds us, as well as arguments obtained by comparing that what is said in the Quran, with the latest scientific discoveries. Fortunately, today in Islamic shops, and on the Internet, you can find similar literature.

A person who has obsessive thoughts of a similar nature should communicate more with observant Muslims, theologians, attend various meetings where people speak religious themes(Majlis), etc. If there is a doubt about Allah, His attributes, etc., do not keep it to yourself, do not try to come to something on your own, but ask theologians!

To pray in a collective (jamaat-namaz), not to rush to immediately get up after namaz and go about your business, but read all the desired prayers (azkars) and ask the Almighty to strengthen your iman.

Question from Muslim:

Please help me! Please answer as soon as possible, I need your help! In the month of Ramadan, I began to worship Allah as I had never worshiped, I spent my nights in prayer, praised Allah, spent the night in a mosque for the last 10 nights (although I also did namaz before, but I limited myself to fard namaz and the Sunnites who are with them), I fell in love with Allah as I didn’t like before. Then, starting from the 30th night, doubts in faith began to torment me, these thoughts do not go away, when I do namaz, I praise Allah, they leave, then they come again.

I have doubts about the correctness of my religion, about the existence of Allah, about the correctness of the Koran, about the prophets. It depresses me, I even began to eat little, lost weight during this time. Maybe the shaitan found out that I worshiped the MOST ALMOST and wants to knock me off the truth? How can I get rid of these doubts once and for all and return the old iman? Will Allah punish me? Am I leaving Islam because of this? Please answer in detail, I need help. May Allah reward you with good!

Vaswasa is a suggestion from the shaitan. The only purpose, which is to spoil the heart of a person and make it inoperative.

Basically, doubts arise in such matters as the existence of Allah, the existence of angels, the existence of life after death, the truth of the Qur'an, as well as the prophecy of the Prophet Muhammad (salallahu alayhi wa sallam).

The first time waswasa appears as a doubt. First of all, the shaitan tries to plant doubt in our hearts. If the heart does not defend itself and accepts this doubt, then the goal of the shaitan will be achieved. But even if the heart does not accept this doubt, it can nevertheless leave a stain on the heart. After some time, bad thoughts begin to appear on the pure mirror of the imagination.

A person whose heart is infected with the waswasa virus thinks that he has been disrespectful to his Lord, and because of this he falls into despair. The person tries to get rid of this state. But since he does not listen to the voice of his heart, that is, to the ilham from the angel, he feels himself in emptiness and loses his calmness.

Although it is precisely this feeling of anxiety and dislike for emerging doubts that show that a person has a firm faith and does not accept the instigations of the shaitan either with his mind or with his heart. And of course, such doubts do not make a person an apostate.

Often, a person is not able to control his imagination and thoughts that come to mind, since all this happens against the will of a person. And for these involuntarily arising thoughts and imaginations, a person does not bear any responsibility.

It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (salallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: "Allah Almighty forgave the thoughts and doubts that come to a slave's mind if he does not do this, or does not say."

In this situation, the most important thing is not to despair. Since everything that comes to a person's mind is just imagination. The bad thoughts that come to our mind are irrelevant.

Bad words and thoughts that come to our mind do not come from our heart, because our heart is not satisfied with it, and it feels uncomfortable. Since this does not come from our hearts, this waswasa is just fantasies and doubts coming from the shaitan. Therefore, they cannot do any harm to our faith. The reflection of a snake in a mirror is not capable of biting us, just as the reflection of fire is not capable of burning us.

In order to get rid of these doubts, first of all, it is necessary to stop paying attention to them, since the purpose of the shaitan is precisely to cause in us a state of anxiety and despair. Continue to unswervingly follow all the precepts of Islam, read the Qur'an as much as possible, if you do not speak Arabic, then read the translation of the Qur'an. And ask Allah Almighty for help in getting rid of these doubts.
