On May 31, an official meeting of the labor collective of the Cheboksary Industrial Tractor Plant with its new head, the interim general director of OJSC Promtractor Igor Ivanovich SHPAK, took place.

Welcoming the employees of the enterprise, Igor Ivanovich said that by the decision of the Board of Directors of OJSC "Promtractor" from May 29, he assumed the position of a temporary general director factory. The decision to appoint a permanent CEO will be made at general meeting shareholders, which will take place on 28 June.

To form an idea of the new leader in the workforce, Igor Shpak listed the key milestones of his own biography. In particular, he said that he was born in 1961 in Magnitogorsk, graduated from the Magnitogorsk Mining and Metallurgical Institute, then worked for many years at the Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Combine, where he worked his way from an assistant foreman to a director in the direction. In 2005, he was an advisor to the General Director of Evrazholding on production and technical policy, and since 2006 he entered the structure of Transmashholding, where he was in charge of managing its operating activities... 2012 to 2016 served as executive director of Metrovagonmash (Mytishchi), and from 2016 to 2018. - Executive Director Bezhitsa Steel Plant.

Anticipating the conversation about the prospects for the development of Promtractor and the production plans of the new management for the near future, Igor Ivanovich spoke about the history of creation and the main activities of Transmashholding, whose shareholders have recently joined the management of the Cheboksary Industrial Tractor Plant.

JSC "Transmashholding" was established in April 2002, - Igor Shpak explained. - Today it is the largest Russian company specializing in the design and manufacture of rolling stock for railways, urban transport systems. The company also produces diesel engines for various purposes and components for rolling stock. Last year, the company's sales amounted to 130 billion rubles.

According to the interim general director, Transmashholding has accumulated significant experience in improving industrial enterprises, such as the Bryansk Machine-Building Plant, the Bezhitsk Steel Plant. It was decided to use this positive practice by a joint decision of Rostec State Corporation and Transmashholding to improve financial and performance indicators a number of civilian factories that were previously part of the structure of the Concern "Tractor Plants" are JSC Promtraktor-Vagon, LLC Promtraktor-Promlit, JSC Promtraktor and PJSC Cheboksary Aggregate Plant.

Referring to the plans of Transmashholding shareholders regarding the future fate of the Cheboksary industrial tractor plant, Igor Shpak stressed that the new management had already developed a preliminary development program, according to which the enterprise should reach breakeven production by mid-autumn. Answering the numerous questions of the plant workers, Igor Ivanovich emphasized that the main task of the company is to fully load the plant and provide the labor collective with the maximum amount of work. In addition, it was noted that Transmashholding will keep the profile production activities enterprises with possible additional loading of capacities with new types of products.

I am convinced that today Transmashholding is the most efficient domestic machine-building holding, - Igor Ivanovich summed up. “Therefore, I am sure that“ under the wing ”of such a strong company Promtractor will be able to achieve visible positive changes in the very near future.

LLC "Promtraktor - Promlit" is the largest Russian manufacturer of cast billets for mechanical engineering (tractor, railway, municipal, etc.) weighing from 10 to 2000 kg.

"Promlit" fully provides cast blanks Cheboksary plant industrial tractors, which produces bulldozers, tractors, and pipelayers with a capacity of up to 750 hp, supplies castings in cooperation to the Volgograd Motor Plant, Onega Tractor Plant and other numerous consumers in Russian Federation and other CIS countries.

Railway casting, spare parts and components for cars

In 2002, the enterprise began to develop new products- railway casting, the demand for which is growing every year both in Russia and in other CIS countries. A long-term contract for the supply of steel carriage castings was signed with Russian Railways. Preparations for the production of railway spare parts required a major modernization of production facilities: the existing automatic molding lines manufactured by the American company HERMAN were seriously modernized - the size of the flasks was increased, the obsolete and worn-out units were replaced. Additionally, new equipment was purchased, including imported equipment.

The following product range for freight railway cars has been mastered: side frame, bolster beam, axle box cover, friction wedge, axle box housing, draft gear housing, traction clamp, CA-3 automatic coupler assembly, non-rotating shoe, modernization kit М1698. Work is underway to prepare the production of other spare parts and components for cars. In the future, it is planned to complete mechanical processing of all manufactured products and assembly of the main units of the cars.

There are always special quality requirements for railway casting - the safety of train traffic depends on it. All products intended for JSC "Russian Railways" before the start of mass production are certified by the appropriate organizations, the company is constantly monitored by specialists from the Department of Carriage Facilities of JSC "Russian Railways". To improve the mechanical properties of the castings, they undergo heat treatment (normalization and tempering) in continuous tunnel furnaces. Thanks to the development of new products, there is a constant increase in production volumes, production areas are expanding, and the number of jobs is growing.

Reinforcing casting

"Promlit" has extensive experience in the production and supply of large cast blanks of shut-off valves for enterprises in Russia and foreign countries. In particular, the enterprise has been cooperating for many years with OJSC "Plant Vodopribor" (Moscow) and the firm "Milliken Valve Co." (USA), in the production of bodies, covers, gates and other large parts of shut-off valves with nominal bore diameters of 150-1200 mm and nominal working pressure up to 3.2 MPa. In accordance with technical requirements the customer is tested products at working pressure, partial or complete machining. The machine park of the enterprise is constantly expanding, so the possibilities for machining are also growing.

At the end of 2005, the company put into operation a new automatic line for vacuum-film molding manufactured by Heinrich Wagner-Sinto (Germany). This made it possible to increase volumes and significantly improve the quality of products.

Vacuum-film-formed castings differ in a number of positive qualities. This is a higher casting accuracy when using minimal or even zero casting slopes, high metal density, no porosity, no pits, burn-in and many other casting defects. The size of the flasks on the new line is 3000x1800x500 / 500 mm, which makes it possible to produce high-quality reinforcing casting of a very wide range of sizes.

Electroslag and powder metallurgy

One of the directions of the company's production activity is the production of blanks by the method of electroslag casting and products from metal powders based on iron-graphite and bronze materials.

The main shaping methods in obtaining billets by the ESL method are solidification of the metal in a water-cooled mold and centrifugal casting. The available production facilities allow the manufacture of billets weighing up to 2.5 tons with maximum dimensions up to 1200 mm in diameter and up to 1500 mm in length in a water-cooled crystallizer, and by centrifugal casting - weighing from 100 to 350 kg with a maximum diameter of 1000 mm. The total production capacity of the electroslag casting shop is 5000 tons / year.

EShL castings provide high mechanical properties and make it possible to obtain combined billets with concurrent fusion of rolled products (pipes, circles, squares and other profiles) or forged semi-finished products. The cast part can be of a more complex shape than the weld-on part of the rolled stock (forgings). The metal of the components of the combined workpieces can be either of the same steel grade or different. It is possible to obtain bimetallic blanks.

EShL castings made it possible to partially replace forgings and are successfully used in critical units of industrial tractors of JSC Promtractor of T11 - T50 class (drive wheels, gears and hubs of final drives, suspension axles and attachments). ESL blanks are successfully used in the production of crane wheels, rolls of rolling mills, blanks for pressing, machining and other equipment. They are also used in the production of forgings for diesel calender shafts instead of evacuated steel. Centrifugal electroslag casting is used to produce balls for industrial ball valves DN 300 and larger. These products are purchased by the leading valve factories in Russia.

Powder production specializes in the manufacture of a wide range of antifriction and structural products based on iron (with the addition of copper, nickel, graphite, sulfur), based on copper (tin, lead bronze (BrO10S10)), as well as products from electrical materials (copper, copper- graphite).

The plant has a unique 1000-ton hydraulic press for pressing powder products: from iron-graphite materials - up to 200 cm2, from copper and bronze powders - up to 400 cm2.

The manufactured products are widely used in the automotive industry (valve bushing, stator bushing, ball joint cracker); machine tool industry; tractor engineering (bushings, washers for road wheels of industrial tractors T-170, bushings for the sun gear DT-75, spacer bushings for track links); electrical industry (sliding electrical contacts, stators of electric motors). The company is constantly expanding the range of orders and the circle of its customers.

Machining plants are equipped with technological equipment domestic production - flow and automatic lines, modular and universal machines. In recent years, a significant park of high-performance CNC machining centers of Japanese, German, Korean firms has been formed for machining body parts (size up to 2,000 mm, accuracy in 6-7 grades). The policy of replacing flow mechanized lines designed to manufacture one type of product for machining centers "MAZAK", "DOOSAN", allowing to process a wide range of products, is currently being carried out at enterprises and is supported by developed investment projects.

Gear machining of gears is transferred from specialized machines to flexible technological complexes of equipment "Gleason" Germany.

Welding works using semiautomatic devices and automatic machines. Part translation welding works for robotic welding complexes using working mixtures based on argon.

Shot-cleaning equipment with high productivity and quality of the processed surface.

Painting equipment that meets the requirements of ecology, industrial hygiene and safety.
