How to make a postcard in Word: step by step instructions. How to make a postcard with an inscription in PowerPoint How to write a greeting on a postcard in a computer

Holidays do not happen very often in our life, so a postcard made by yourself will be a good addition to the main gift. Moreover, you don't have to draw it by hand, for this you can use the well-known program "Word". In this article we will tell you how to make a postcard in Word. All instructions will be divided into stages, by completing which, in the end, you can achieve desired result.

Step-by-step instructions on how to make a postcard in the "Word"

"Word" is a multifunctional word processor, with which you can easily make a postcard for the holiday. In this article, we will consider a method involving the use of templates. This will not only facilitate and speed up its creation, but also allow you to choose the most beautiful design from a huge number of proposed ones. So, let's go directly to the instructions on how to make a postcard in the "Word".

Step 1: Create the document

The first step, of course, is to create new document... The easiest way to do this is by opening the program itself, rather than creating a separate document on your hard drive. Now this will be described in detail:

  1. Click on the "Start" button.
  2. Open all applications installed on your computer. For example, in Windows 7, you need to click on the "All Programs" button.
  3. Find MS Word in the list of applications and click on it.
  4. The application will start. In it, first of all, click on the "File" button located in the upper left corner.
  5. In the menu that appears, go to the "Create" section.

On this, so to speak, it is possible to complete the creation of a new document, although this is not entirely true. The next step in the instructions on how to create a postcard in the "Word" is to choose a suitable template.

Step 2: choosing a template

As stated, now we will choose a suitable template, but first we need to sort out unnecessary ones that do not fit the topic.

  1. To make your search easier, enter the word "postcard" into the search box, then press the Enter key.
  2. You will see a list of postcard templates. Notice also the categories on the right side of the window. There you can choose the theme of the postcard.
  3. All you have to do is choose the option you like and click on its picture.
  4. A preview of the postcard appears. If you are sure that it suits you, click the "Create" button.
  5. Now you need to wait while the file is downloaded from the Internet and opens in a new document.

So, you already know how to choose a template, but this is not the whole instruction on how to make a postcard in Word. It still needs to be formatted by entering desired text and possibly fixing some elements.

Step 3: formatting the postcard

There is a full postcard in front of you, but something is missing in it. Of course, congratulatory text! The templates often already have some wishes, but there is no name of the person to whom the postcard is addressed, there is no individual congratulation. And most importantly, it is not written who this card is from.

To enter all the necessary information, you need to double-click on the area where you want to enter it, and type text from the keyboard.

Step 4: Save and Print

So, we have finished with the postcard, so now we can safely say that you know how to make a postcard in the Word. But there is one more thing - it needs to be saved and printed:

  1. Click on the "File" button.
  2. Go to the "Save As" section.
  3. Provide a name and location where you want to save it.
  4. After that go to the "Print" section and print the postcard on the printer.

If you do not have this device, then you can dump the saved file to a USB flash drive and print on another computer.

Conclusion

Now you know how to make a postcard in the "Word" and insert text into it, which means that you have learned everything. Now it will not be difficult for you to please your relatives and friends with beautiful postcards of your own production.

To please your loved ones with congratulations, it is not necessary to spend money on a postcard with a template picture and text. Beautiful product you can get it from the materials at hand using the tips and tricks listed in this article.

A postcard is a nice little thing with bright pictures and warm words that we often get on holidays. Modern postcards sold in stores are often made, as they say, "without a soul": they have stereotyped pictures of flowers, ribbons and smiling puppies.

Nevertheless, I want to make loved ones pleasant and try to surprise them, please and give pleasant emotions.

In such cases only needlework can come to the rescue... In stores for creativity now, each buyer can find a huge number of suitable products for decor of handmade postcards:

scrapbooking, scrap paper, kraft paper and kraft cardboard, colored paper and cardboard, foil and corrugated paper, lace, braid, linen and canvas fabric, brushwood, vine, sequins, rhinestones, beads and beads, artificial flowers, foamiran, felt, felt, satin ribbons, lurex, gold and silver sand, sequins, decorative figurines, acrylic paints and much more.

DIY cards: ideas for creativity

We can say with confidence that in a homemade postcard you can express all your creativity and make any fantasy come true.

Before starting work, it is important to do full preparation for work:

  • Purchase in the required quantity all decorative elements (to create a postcard).
  • Have scissors, a ruler and always rubber glue for attaching each decorative element (you can also use a hot gun and instant glue).
  • Imagine in advance what your postcard should look like: draw a sketch of it on a draft or make a template by overlaying one material on top of another.

IMPORTANT: You should work very carefully, because if you leave a daub of glue, it will dry out and ruin appearance your product.

The simplest ideas for creating postcards with your own hands:

You can make a spectacular postcard for any holiday from craft cardboard, colored paper and woolen thread. First, you need to decide exactly for yourself: how your postcard will look like. There are several options:

  • Postcard booklet
  • Postcard flyer
  • Postcard in an envelope
  • Square postcard
  • Postcard rectangular
  • Curly postcard
  • Miniature postcard
  • Tie card
  • Card for money
  • Large postcard (A4 format)

IMPORTANT: A simple leaflet postcard in an envelope looks spectacular. The envelope will help it to last for a long time, will not damage the decor.

Per sheet white thick cardboard(base) should glue the background of kraft paper (the size of the piece should be half a centimeter smaller than the base of the postcard). It is best to glue paper dry glue(glue stick) so as not to leave wet marks or allow the paper to take an irregular shape.

After the background is ready, stick on it several woolen threads- these are "ropes from balls". After that, from colored paper should be cut several hearts. Hearts can be bent in half. After that smear only the fold and glue to the upper end of the woolen thread. Use a red sheet of colored paper to make an envelope for storing your postcard. The product is ready, all that remains is to sign.

A simple and very beautiful card made of cardboard and colored paper

You can cut out hearts, as well as any other shapes, not only from colored paper, but also from kraft paper... It has a pattern, drawing or just an unusual color and texture that will add charm to your card. Choose postcards for the base white, milky or beige cardboard(light brown). These colors are the most pleasing to the eye and are considered classic.

Another interesting and budgetary way to decorate a postcard is glue buttons on it... To do this, you just need to have cardboard for the base and a handful of buttons of different diameters. With a simple pencil, draw a shape or drawing on cardboard: a heart, a ball, a herringbone (whatever).

If necessary, a ready-made sketch hover with the liner(thin felt-tip pen) and only then carefully glue the buttons on the card. Wait until the glue is completely dry and continue the design: write your wishes, attach another pattern or draw.

Woolen thread- simple and interesting decor for a postcard. But, it must be used correctly: select by color, check its ability to "paint" the glue (this feature can leave ugly stains), and indeed come up with why do you need it in handcraft. Most often, the thread is used, as part of a drawing(ropes, handles, legs, hair, ropes, bridges, etc.), or lay out an important word.

The secret of the postcard is that it looks quite simple when closed. IMPORTANT: The advantage of this postcard is that the material for its execution is simple and affordable. In addition, every time a person opens it, he will mentally move to this day and his holiday.

Beautiful and spectacular do-it-yourself birthday card

Another interesting technique that can come in handy when creating a postcard is quilling. Quilling- this is the twisting of thin strips of paper in order to obtain a figure or serpentine. A quilling kit is available at craft and office supply stores.

IMPORTANT: Think in advance about the pattern, drawing and figures that will decorate your card. Attach them to a cardboard base using hot or rubber glue. After that, the postcard can be additionally decorated and signed.

Beautiful birthday card using quilling technique

The classic way to decorate a card from the inside rather than the outside is make a voluminous decor inside. It is not difficult to create it. To do this, you need, first of all, to have two sheets of thick cardboard of different colors (preferably).

A sheet of cardboard that will be inside, fold in half and make 6 even cuts on the fold (for three convex gifts inside):

  • Two 2 cm each (a small present, the distance between the cuts is also 2 cm).
  • Step back 5 mm and make two 4 cm cuts (medium-sized gift) with a distance of 4 cm.
  • Step back 5 mm again and make two 6 cm cuts (large gift) with a distance of 6 cm.

IMPORTANT: Measure your postcard in advance and draw the cut lines so that you have enough space.

After that, open a sheet of cardboard, turn the folds to the wrong side and glue the two base sheets together. It remains only to decorate and sign the postcard. Inside you will receive three convex cubes are the basis of gifts, they should be sealed with colored or craft paper, as well as decorated with ribbons. The product is ready!

Video - How to create a postcard using the online service Online-postcard.rf

I already wrote.

But there it was about a large postcard, and now it's about a simple, one-page postcard with text.

If there is no time to compose a presentation or just a picture with text is enough, I usually do this:

In the search box I enter the query "Bouquet" and be sure to mark:

1. Size - large - so you don't need to stretch;

2. The file is png. - so that there is no unnecessary background.

I choose and save.

I open PowerPoint - Insert - Picture - find the saved picture - Open.

The bouquet was set exactly to the size of the slide.

I insert the text and see that I can't see anything 😀 - the background of the picture is rather colorful, so if you just insert the text, it will be hard to distinguish. Or you need to choose a dark color for the font - I don't like dark colors. I used to suffer when choosing a color, but more often I just had to choose not such a “color” picture.

And then I learned that text can be placed not only in the well-known way Insert - Label.

There is another interesting option: Insert - WordArt!

At this stage, you can choose any style that seems more or less suitable. I click on the selected option and the inscription "Place your text here" appears on the picture. I place it.

Then you need to change the font size. And, as a rule, the font itself too. But it's simple - just like in Word - I select the text and select new parameters from the drop-down menu.

However, the text is still poorly readable. Drawing Tools come to the rescue.

Left-clicked on the text and the necessary icons appeared at the top right.

You can change the style, select the text color and the outline color. In addition, you can adjust the thickness of the contour line.

I did it, but it seemed to me that the text was still not very clearly visible, then I used another effect - Glow!

This works like an additional circuit. Here you can also select the color and width of the "outline". If you are not satisfied with any of the options in the drop-down menu, you can make changes using the "Glow parameters" section. Here you can choose not only the color and width, but also the degree of transparency!

Here's what I got

With these tools, any text will be clearly visible on any picture!

You can send!

Questions will appear - you can also ask in the comments.

Or you can in the window on the right border.
