About the Regional Barbecue Competition

"Fight on skewers"

Festival organizers: Department of Communications and Mass Media, Regional Information Agency "Voronezh", newspaper "Molodoy Kommunar".

Participants of the competition: residents of Voronezh and the Voronezh region over the age of 18 are invited to participate in the competition.

Stage 1: Creative stage"Prescription"

· Participants of the competition come up with their own original recipe for barbecue and until July 10, 2013 send it along with the participant's questionnaire (Appendix 1) to ***** mail;

· Format of the recipe submission: a description of the products, their quantities and a description of the stages of preparation. A photo of the finished dish is attached to the recipe;

The final:

· The dishes are prepared by the finalists, who can take 2 assistants for themselves;

· It takes 2 hours to cook 2 kg of meat, the organizers, on equal terms, provide the finalists with individual barbecues, charcoal, meat, and ignition material. The finalists bring spices and decorations themselves;

· The finished and served dish is transferred to a special commission, which assigns serial numbers to each shish kebab and submits them to the jury in anonymous form;

· The skill of barbecue cooking and the art of serving in the "Grand Prix" nominations are assessed by a professional jury;

· The skill of cooking barbecue and the taste of barbecue in the nomination "To the taste of the guests" is appreciated by all guests of the event. A special commission provides guests with questionnaires, which they fill out and return to the jury, who count the votes and announce the results.

Finalist cheerleading competition

· Support groups prepare special numbers - performances in support of their member;

· The team can consist of up to 5 people;

· The performance of each group is given 5 minutes;

· Performances are held within the framework of the Show program during the final;

· Welcome: genre diversity, originality, creativity, costumedness;

· The mastery of support is assessed by the jury of the competition.

Prize fund: participants and winners receive diplomas and gifts from organizers and sponsors. The first, second and third places receive prizes from the cyber sponsor of the cybermarket Yulmart in Voronezh.

IMPORTANT:

The organizers are ready to consider proposals for partnership assistance or participation in the "Shashlik League" Festival.

The recipe for kebabs and sauces, dishes and cutlery for cutting meat and serving competitive dishes (as well as other trifles and tricks necessary for a well-deserved culinary victory) - on the provision of the teams themselves.

For the best self-presentation, teams also have the opportunity to attract additional partners and sponsors to the event (in agreement with the organizers of the "Shashlik League" Festival).

On June 4, Project 111 gathered its Moscow friends to celebrate the 23rd birthday of the company with a fun and delicious picnic. The bleak weather forecasts did not frighten: one and a half hundred people came to a picturesque place on the Sinichka River to relax and meet with friends. And someone - to become the kings of the barbecue.

For the holiday, they chose a site in the Moscow region, surrounded by a forest and overlooking the river, the guests played badminton, darts and table tennis(and thus carried out a test drive of the beach novelties), treated themselves to snacks, took pictures and gave gifts to Project 111.

Everyone was waiting for the main thing - a competition in the preparation of kebabs. Someone was looking for the best tenderloin, someone marinated kebab for several days, but, of course, almost everyone relied on a combination of spices. Director of RA "Tangram-KM" Marina Sidorova believes that the main thing in barbecue is "many, many basilicas". The marinade according to her recipe also includes onions, lemon, dry wine and thyme. By the way, the guests of the holiday showed that barbecue is not only a man's occupation. Of the 17 participants, seven are women.

Everyone tried to surprise the judges. The contestants added Italian style or an Asian riddle to the Caucasian dish using pesto and teriyaki sauces. And of course, not only meat was tormented over the coals. Vegetables, fruits and seafood "with a smoke" after the judges 'assessment were scattered among the guests' plates in a matter of seconds.

Andrey Pronin (Magic Gifts) was out of the competition. He dug a hole (for some reason, next to the switchboard, but we won't tell anyone about it) and baked a leg of lamb right in it (in the hole, that is). The dish arrived at the end of the evening and became the final gastronomic note: juicy and bright.

Denis Vokhmin, head of production at Yuken, introduced his colleagues to a new technology for the market: personalization for meat. A special stamp, which will later be donated to Project 111, burned the logo directly onto a juicy piece of pork.

Special thanks to the Illan company, which prepared not only recipes and products for Saturday. Our friends made themselves a chef's uniform: branded T-shirts and ... mustaches.

The competition was judged by the chef of the Klumba Club restaurant Tair Merkulov and the chef of the opening ceremony of the 2014 Olympics Sergey Eremin. They evaluated taste, roast, juiciness and presentation. The professionalism of the judges was also evidenced by the fact that without negotiating, they almost always gave the same marks. The verdict of the panel of judges and a wish to the participants: it is necessary to improve in the possession of a barbecue and try to prevent uneven frying.

According to the results of a hot battle, Alexander Bazhenov ("Arnika") was recognized as the king of the barbecue. The second place went to Svetlana Ugarova (Brand Logo), the third place was taken by Nina Antsupova (Illan).

Project 111, in turn, declares: let's improve together! Summer has just begun, we will still have opportunities to meet and treat each other with our own signature dishes. In the meantime, thanks to everyone who came to visit us last Saturday. It was delicious and warm - thanks to you.

Kebabs !!! Finally, they can be cooked wherever and whenever you want! Of course, for the owners of private houses this is not so important, but for the rest the SHASHLIK SEASON IS OPEN !!!

This time the competition will be impossibly simple and very enjoyable:

  1. You need to fry a kebab (from any product and in any form). Be sure to do it on the street, and not at home !!!
  2. Take a picture of the shish kebab the way you like it (but so that we all understand that the shish kebab was fried on the street - put coals, grass, snow, etc. in the frame), and send the photo to us.
  3. Execute required condition(read below).

Required condition

All works participating in the competition must contain a clearly visible hand-made inscription on the site - in the form of a piece of paper, a label, a pattern on a dish or something similar. In general, we need not a virtual, but a material inscription. If you are sending a collage, then the inscription should be in one frame with the dish, and not in a separate one.

Note!

The culinary composition will be judged according to three criteria (in ascending order of importance):

  • photo quality
  • creativity composition
  • appetizing barbecue

Subjective evaluation of the work is guaranteed!

Other conditions

  • The competition is held from 04/27/2017 to 06/05/2017
  • Summing up and payment of remuneration to the winners of the competition are carried out no later than 10.06.2017
  • Photos must be unique (not posted anywhere on the Internet before)
  • Photos must be yours
  • It will be great if you also attach a complete recipe to the work - not a prerequisite (the text cannot be copied from other sites, the copied texts will be deleted)
  • The works will be evaluated by an independent jury consisting of authors and site administration.
  • Jury chooses 3 best work, and each participant can claim only one prize place
  • There will be an audience choice prize (real "delights" and likes are taken into account +++ asking friends to support you is a great idea in every sense)

Three winners will receive cash prizes: 700, 1000 and 1500 rubles, as well as 500 rubles will go to the audience's favorite.
